Manage your risk effectively with Compuscan’s detailed information. You can not afford to be without it.
What is Credit Check?
Credit Check is a credit reporting system that gives you direct online and offline access to one of the most comprehensive credit bureau databases managed by Compuscan.
The Business Challenge:
Managing your risk is essential to minimise profit loss. Without access to the right information you can not assess your client's ability to repay a loan, you can not manage your risk, you can not stay compliant under the NCA, you can not protect your business against fraud, you can not manage your accounts and credit portfolios and you can not collect effectively on your debts.
Our Solution:
Compuscan provides you with the most up to date and accurate information to minimise and manage your risk. Through our reporting software application, Credit Check, you can easily submit and receive our credit information via a method of your choice. We load, verify and validate all credit information as we receive it from credit providers, telecom & insurance companies, courts, the National Loans Register (NLR), the Credit Providers Association (CPA) and the South African Fraud Prevention Services (SAFPS), etc.
How can I gain access to and submit data:
Our data can be accessed and submitted in 4 ways:
On-line Enquiries: Easy access to information. All credit information is available online and in real time via a user-friendly GUI.
Batch Services: Batch service is simply a whole list of records that is requested by the client and then sent to the client in a bulk format (more than a 100 enquiries). It allows you to obtain valuable information, delivered by method of choice, in an offline or online mode. Batch requests can be delivered securely via the web, e-mail, FTP (File Transfer Protocol), and manually in csv, html or xml format.
Direct Links: Online access can be obtained through direct CPU-CPU links from your application processing systems or other software platforms.
Integration Toolkit: The toolkit allows our credit bureau information to be sent and received and fully integrated into other software platforms such as our Loan Management Systems called Proloan.
