‘CompuWatch – Triggers & Alerts’, formerly known as the ‘Change and Conflicts Log’, is a real-time alert service which flags at-risk borrowers so that you can act quickly to prevent loss before you are exposed to it.

‘CompuWatch - Triggers & Alerts’ form part of our credit reporting systems’ (Compuscan Credit Check) value added functionalities. It uses the credit bureau database to monitor borrowers’ movements within the credit industry. It will identify newly available information on consumers and in turn send alerts to notify you of any information that has changed or any new information that is available on the consumer.

It gives you the ability to keep track of the following on a daily basis:

• How many of your borrowers have migrated to another institution
• How many of your borrowers have been credit checked by another institution
• How many loans have been issued to your borrowers by another institution
• Judgements issued by other branches against your borrowers
• Collections registered against your borrowers
• Administration Orders registered against your borrowers
• Applications for Administration Orders on your borrowers
• New Address details registered against your borrowers
• New telephones numbers registered against your borrowers
• Debt Collection Traces registered against your borrowers
• Employment information changed for your borrowers
• Fraud alerts on your borrowers

Please Note: Should a client wish to receive fraud alerts, you would have to subscribe to the South African Fraud Prevention Services (SAFPS) data, otherwise the link will only be displayed as static.

You can choose which triggers to monitor. You can also add a trigger to specific borrowers to be flagged for when an alert is displayed.
