Compuscan CRB Ltd. Wins the Ugandan Visionary Award
Since the 1980s, Uganda has endeavoured and succeeded in developing their country economically, politically, and socially. In 2007, the Ugandan Government establish the Comprehensive National Development Planning Framework Policy (CNDPF). The purpose of the CNDPF is a 30-year vision for the further development of Uganda.

Compuscan entered the country in 2006, after being selected by the Bank of Uganda to establish a credit reference bureau and biometric identity smart card system.
Since the inception of the credit reference bureau and biometric identity smart card system, Uganda’s economic growth in the credit and finance industry has increased considerably. This growth has been especially significant for women ages 18 to 25, which is in line with Uganda’s Gender Equality and Women Empowerment vision.
For Compuscan CRB’s outstanding contribution towards the Uganda Middle Income Status Aspiration and Vision, on 7 November 2017, Compuscan was privileged to receive a Certificate of Special Recognition at The 5th Visionaries of Uganda Awards by HE. Edward Ssekandi Kiwanuka, the Vice President of the Republic of Uganda. The award honours Compuscan CRB Uganda Limited as the best Visionary Credit Management Solutions Provider 2017.
