Since the inception of the credit reference bureau and biometric identity smart card system, Uganda’s economic growth in the credit and finance industry has increased considerably. This growth has been especially significant for women ages 18 to 25, which is in line with Uganda’s Gender Equality and Women Empowerment vision.
